"Never give a sword to a man who cannot dance."
(Celtic lore)

A man is touched most deeply when he comes in contact with his manly self, and this can be experienced in a circle of similar-minded men who respect him in his whole being.

Often, during our development into becoming men, we lacked intensive contact with our fathers or other male role models, who would have taught us about what it means to be a man.

We are also missing role models and rituals in our society that lead us to masculinity: things that lead the man from his mother's influence and help him to be able to go to his father and to trust his own masculine strength.

Every man knows that the positive forces of a mature man lie within himself, a treasure that wants to be fully discovered, beyond judgments, shadows and injured reactions.

In this seminar, we encourage you to explore your personal potential and to develop and strengthen your true man's being for yourself.

It is a chance for you to appear as a man in a man's circle, alive and without armament: with his strength, his vulnerability, his feelings, his courage, and his riches.

In the sacred space of this seminar, all feelings are allowed to be and are respected: hurts, wounds, shame, shadows, or male strength. It is a space for experience and experiment, in order to reveal one's self. With zest, desire, and delight, we will give our creative being space to develop.

We will address and come in contact with men's subjects through conversation, healing circles, and expression in voice and movement, and open ourselves completely to the man's being. This also means experiencing the feminine side of oneself and giving it room.

In particular, we will address man's injuries. Accepting the injuries which he has received from his father, mother, men, or women, or those which are self-inflicted - is an important step to heal and become whole.

We will also deal deeply with the subjects of sexuality, love, man-woman issues, the relationship to the inner woman and the inner man, the darker sides of the man, and the powers available through ancient forces.

We invite you to open yourself for deeper feelings in order to allow you to feel the connection with the source of your life and to the divinity of your man's being. We live this experience first in the intimacy of the man's circle, in order to integrate it then into our life.

Everybody in the seminar will find his own keys and spiritual connections, which can assist him in life.

Lex van Someren
has for many years dealt with the subjects of the man's being, his injuries, and his feminine strength. He has encountered many deep experiences in himself, which he is willing to share with other men.

Lex is a musician, composer, singer, dancer, clown and teacher, and for more than 2 decades has given seminars on "Dance and Sound of the Soul" and "TAO of the Clown", both profound and deeply-touching methods that were developed by him to lead people to their soul essence.

His sense of humor combined with his ability to seize the moment, and his deep, affectionate respect for the uniqueness of each individual, allows his seminars to become an area of growth and healing, whose effects last much longer than the days spent together.
